Install the plugin

Two commands add the MCP server and the roast-loop skill. Prefer a single server entry? claude mcp add still works. No API key needed either way.

Authorize via OAuth

On first use, Claude Code opens your browser to authorize access. Log in, approve, and you're connected. No tokens to manage.

Ask Claude to Roast

Say "roast example.com" and Claude handles the rest. You get scores across 8 categories, specific issues, and actionable recommendations.

Setup

Install the plugin inside Claude Code. It brings the MCP server and the roast-loop skill:

Roasting a site that isn't live yet

Our crawler runs on our servers, so localhost is out of reach. The skill exposes your dev server through a Cloudflare quick tunnel (brew install cloudflared), roasts it, fixes the highest-severity findings in your code, and roasts again until the score clears your target:

PageSpeed is skipped for tunnel hosts automatically, so a roast finishes in under a minute. Public staging and preview URLs need no tunnel.

Prefer to add the server by hand? One command, or a .mcp.json file in your project root:
